BFA has also added a Burlinson YDNA match in England, and a group of family members met with him and some of his family in April 2024 when they traveled to the UK and Ireland. The trip included several stops where the Burleson/Burlison/Burlinson ancestors lived in medieval England. Some pictures and research notes will be shared with BFA members in the near future.

The Burleson Family Association website provides news, event information, history, public research links, and a members-only archives.

Beginning in March 2026, the association will offer a new format for the Burleson Family Bulletin, combining the traditional bulletin with features from the monthly newsletter. The new, online magazine-style bulletin will feature queries, recipes, photos, and other news of interest, plus several researched articles about Burleson/Burlison families or allied families who have played an important role in the family’s history. Because it will be offered monthly via email, members can read it quickly, and there will be fewer pages to print, if one desires. Don't miss any issues!
